Yoooo
This is a song that was created to be put into a music video made by Dan stone. I liked the sound of the chirping birds so I made a half time drum beat to it, added some Pads in the background (layering them). Then for the pitch shifted part I used the 3oxc and went to the INS tab, Adjusted the pitch envelope so that it would go upwards, then adjusted the attack to match 2 measures worth of the song. Then for the last part I took a sub bass and added a slow LFO to the Cutoff Freq. to get the Wuuuub wuuuub wuuuub sound
Dubstep Beat
Okay so for this one I used a low sub bass and arranged it in the piano roll so that it would do slides. The main riff is the 3oxc set to a high gain and low octave so that its clipping (then I ran it into a arppegiator) I still felt it was missing something so I threw in a slayer part set to chords, a clean tone, and lots of tremolo.
Sylenth 1
Demoing a new synth, Sylenth 1 Hense the "Docter P" voice. Pretty simple, I basically made the Sylenth Synth overload till it was clipping very badly, adjusted it so that it was playing 8 voices, brought everything down 1 octave, then used an LFO on the Cutoff Freq. to achieve the giant monster voice sound. The rest of the song uses several channels of the 30XC with LFO's set at different time intervals.

New Loop
Okay so for this one I wanted to make a song with a bass drop and some trippy pitch shifting so in the beginning I started with a funky drum loop and added the transchorder for my organ sound and my lead... brought in the pitch shifted section with high hats/ a bass drop and let it flow... then I made this section with a chopped/ transposed organ with delayed/reverbed snare drums in the background that sounds like doors opening or something. sweet.

My synth sound
For this project I had to make up a synth sound of my own, and this is what I ended up with. Working from the default synth in Sytrus I first changed the WAV thing into a SAW wav then I modded the volume and pitch envelopes to get that gradual rise in the strength of the note and the little swoop in the pitch, then I added in some delays and effects like chorus into the mix, but not too over bearing then finally I wanted to mess with some of the filter settings so I went into the main FL Studio mixer and selected the Bass, treble, and midrange dials and created automation clips for all of them, then I went and messed around with them a bit in the playlist, I thought it added a nice subtle change to the song, I was thinking something along the lines of the synth that does the solo in "The Hand that feeds"- NIN, its not exact but his does a little pitch shifting and weird stuff is more fuzzy over all than mine is. Hope you like the little ditty
